Large Neo-Gothic style paneled room made out of oak during the 19th century. Each piece is decorated with molded rectangular panels adorned with a linenfold motif. A motif that was very popular towards the end of the middle ages and the Renaissance period. This motif, can be seen particularly on the entrance doors. Their are two types of linenfold motifs. At the lower part of the panneled room, we see simple linenfold motifs, whilst two rows above we see linenfold motifs made out of a variety of mouldings, and elaborately carved. The upper part of this paneled room features several rectangular shaped panels adorned with different decorative motifs: coats of arms, garlands of foliage, grapes and other more stylized elements.
