Emilio Terry (1890 -1869) (in the taste of) Round piece with shagreen wallpaper, late 20th century
Dimensions:
Diameter: 173'' ⅝ 441cm
This round piece made at the end of the 20th century comes from a Parisian mansion. Its decoration is inspired by the work of the Franco-cuban decorator Emilio Terry (1890 -1869). The walls are covered with a wallpaper imitating the shagreen in green/blue tones and are decorated with a motif in the Art Deco taste in the upper parts. The decoration is composed of two double doors with gadrooned round handles, two black lacquered wooden chests of drawers opening by three rows of drawers on the front and a large alcove mirror, all set to the rhythm of pilasters painted in black and enhanced with gold at the ends as well as wall sconces. The ceiling is adorned with a white pleated curtain.
The cornice is not included in the set.
