Wear and aged patina. The fireback was later drilled in its lower part.
This antique Louis XVI style fireback was made in the 18th century. While two hearts are burning on an altar decorated with laurel branches, a putti flying in the sky holds in one of his hands a crown of leaves and in the other hand an arrow pointing to the altar.
