Very beautiful pair of gilt bronze and cloisonné enamels vases, Orientalist style, made in the second half of the 19th century.
The vases are entirely covered with foliages and oriental-inspired interlacing made of cloisonné enamel on a blue background, characteristic of Orientalist works.
The vases rest on a gilt bronze base composed of four elephant heads very richly decorated.
These vases are to be compared to the work of Ferdinand Barbedienne after a model by Edouard Lièvre.
