This fireback was made of cast iron in the 20th century. It is decorated with an allegorical figure of Victoria. She is represented as a winged goddess, dressed in an antique drapery and headless, holding a laurel wreath in one hand, the emblem of victory that the winner is supposed to receive, and holding a palm, the insignia of the winner. Victoria is framed by scroll and acanthus leaf motifs.
