Made of cast iron, this fireback is decorated with a scene largely inspired by 18th century gallant scenes. In a rocaille frame made of foliage, large acanthus leaves and volutes, a seated woman holds a small bird in her hand and turns her head towards the man sitting next to her playing the flute.
