Just as much decorative as usefull, our quadrangular marquise was made in the late 19th century.
Its cast iron structure holds the roofglass composed of hammered yellow glass panels, unfortunatlmy because of the time consequences, some are broken. Its structure is adorned with a scrolls crown underlined by an ornemental pediment and rests on corbels with motifs in the same taste.
True architectural heritage, the marquise knows a real concern from the second half of the 19th century, when we saw it more on the Parisian external facades with the softening of the construction's rules imposed by Haussmann. Before this, it already decorates with its delicacy, the entrance on the interior yard or the mansion's one.
