Exceptional pair of Louis XV Style Silver Candlesticks by BOIN TABURET Manufacture

This unique pair of candlesticks in Louis XV style was made around 1880 out of solid silver. The central pillar and the arms are slightly curved and feature foliage directly inspired by the Rococo style.
The candlesticks were made by Maison Boin-Taburet. The company was set up by Emile Taburet, whilst working with the antique dealer Georges Boin. The company thus took on the name “Boin Taburet” in 1880. They were present at the Universal exhibition of 1889 in Paris.
The brand “Boin Taburet” is on both of the bases of the candlesticks.
French hallmark for sterling silver : MINERVE. About 5.300 kgs.
