Louis Balmet 1876-1957, was a stained glass maker from Grenoble. His work featured at many exhibitions around the world and they won several grand prizes. He won the prize of Légion d'Honneur in 1953 for his work.
Saint Emilie de Rodat was born in 1787 in the Aveyron region in France, and founded the Congregation of the Sisters of the Saint Family, dedicated to educating poor girls and the helping sick people in their homes. By the time of her death in 1852 in Villefranche-de-Rouergue 40 houses had been created. She became a Saint in June 1940.
