The first represents the Virgin Mary in prayer, intercessor before God, written below are the words “Regina sine lare originali con” (Queen of Immaculate Conception, pray for us). These words come from the litanies of Loreto or of the Blessed Virgin Mary which recount Mary’s religious qualities. In the lower part of the window, among a bouquet of lilies another banner proclaims: « Tota pulchra es et macul_ non est in te » which is: « Tota pulchra es, Maria, et macula originalis non est in te » (You are completely pure Mary and you have no Original sin.) This is an extract from an old 14th century song called Tota Pulchra Es, from an unknown writer. These words are also in the Song of Songs and the “O Sanctissima” prayer.
The second window depicts Christ giving his blessing, “sacratissimum cor jesu”. In the lower part is a shield with a banner bearing the motto: “Honneur et Fidélité” (Honor and Faithfulness). Saint Louis and Saint Joseph are represented on the 3rd and 4th stained glass.
The price is for the 4 stained glass.
