This Art Deco style chrome-plated metal radiator cover comes from the beautiful Toubiana mansion in Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris area, France) built between 1928 and 1930. For this house, Toubiana sollicitated the winning team of the Deauville competition : Charles Adda architect, the ceramists Bourdet and Gentil, and the artistic ironworker Marcel Bergue.
We have here an iron work by Marcel Bergue, who was noticed at the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts. He will be named chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 1934.
