This set comes from a Parisian mansion for which it was made at the end of the 20th century. It consists of a bathtub on four bronze lion feet and a plaster Art Deco inspired bas-relief depicting a lush garden.
Armand Albert Rateau makes for Jeanne Lanvin in the private appartment of her private mansion, a bas-relief in staff with a deer decoration, today conserved in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris. Our bas-relief is very much inspired by this work.
Another bas-relief in the same style is available under reference 12699.
