Good condition with natural patina. The shelf is 19th century. The paint on the plaster sides is flaking. (see pictures)
Beautiful stone mantel from the 18th century. Elegantly curved the center piece of the frieze is a bouquet. Pastoral themes were very popular in the second half of the 18th century.
