Small stone mantel of Louis XV inspiration made in the 1930’s. The curved jambs adorned with molded panels support a deeply curved entablature carved with protruding spandrels. The entablature is underlined by rounded moldings that run from both sides and meet in the middle rolling up into acanthus leaves, that flank a delicate round shell - typical of the Louis XV style. The shelf lines follow the curves of the entablature.
