This mantel was made in terra cotta in the early 19th century.
Its jambs composed of half twisted columns are adorned with acanthus and laurel leaves, they support the entablature decorated with a little flowers garland rhythmed with three mascarons, one representing Bacchus, the others Maenads. The entablature, also marked with with a frieze of pearls, supports a glass slab.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availabily). Modern glass slab. Possibility to make another one on request.
