This Napoleon III style, fire screen was realized in the 19th century in gilded bronze.
the panels opens in the manner of a fan, each stick is perforated. The central part is animated by a young woman with a tambourine under a dais, wearing a draped twirling to the rhythm of his dance moves.
The top is crowned with a firepot resting on a cornice ornamented with a frieze of water leaf.
The base is decorated with acanthus leaves, garlands of laurel and scrolls. It centers a grotesque old man in a blazon.
