This beautiful firescreen was made of gilt brozne in the late 19th century.
It is adorned with a beautiful eclectic decoration mixing the styles. Indeed, the main face depicts a feminine mascaron crowned with a shell in scrolls decoration with flowers. From this central motif are escaping on each side a flowers garland attached in the extremities by buttons. The firescreen is resting on four feet shaped as dolphins in a very elegant way and underlined by a beautiful scroll decorated with acanthus leave and small godroons.
