This important plaster bas relief was made at the end of the 20th century, it reminds the Art Deco vogue.
It is composed of four panels depicting a doe and a deer in a forest.
Armand Albert Rateau makes for Jeanne Lanvin in the private appartment of her private mansion, a bas-relief in staff with a deer decoration, today conserved in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris. Our bas-relief is very much inspired by this work.
