Height 14'' ⅝  37cm
Depth: 10'' ¼  26cm

Origin:
Last quarter 19th century, France

Status:
In very good condition. Aged patina. Gilding slightly gone.

This quadrilobed cache-pot was made during the last quarter of the 19th century.
Even if it was inspired by chinese artworks, it is a french production.

This cloisonne enameled is decorated with polychrome butterflies and peonies on a red background, with a tao-tie inspired gilded pattern.
This type of object is often produced on a blue background, it is pretty rare to find a red one, like our model.
The openwork ormulu mounted is present on the top, the base and the handles.
