Cast iron insert

Cast iron inserts are a kind of fireplace insert.

Most of the time, antique fireplaces' cast iron inserts are cast in one single part.

1. Antique cast iron inserts
   
   Very beautiful antique fireplaces are sometimes provided with their original cast iron insert. If so they are often decorated with elegant foliages, volutes and open flowers.

2. Antique copper inserts
   
   On some rare fireplaces, the insert is also made out of copper, and is often very elaborately decorated.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Modern cast iron inserts
   
   Sometimes, we can also make modern cast iron inserts, which are new editions of antique models. In this case, the cast iron insert is perfectly adapted to fit the fireplace.
