Elegant and sober oak paneled library room on two levels with curved set of stairs in the Louis XV style from the 1940’s. On the first level, we see a series of niches framed with recessed panels adorned with sun flowers and curlicue foliage above. A flight of stairs with a wrought iron handrail delicately curved with scrolls and curlicue foliage leads to the upper level, and here we fine another series of niches. The decor of the handrail continues along the upper level balconies that also serve as backrests for benches.
