In good condition. A restoration on the frieze. Light trace of the mirror on the mantel top.
Very beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace made of white Carrara marble in the nineteenth century. The opulent decor is typical of this style : foliaged reversed shells, acanthus leaves, medallions, scrolls ... The lines are contoured and shapes are curved. Jambs have several windings.
The fireplace is equipped with its complete cast iron insert with Venus decor fireback. The depth of this cast iron insert is 45 cm (17'' 3/4).
The marble floor is not included but could be made to order in our workshop.
