Louis XVI style mantel carved in vert d’Estours marble and adorned with gilded bronzes in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature, panelled and underlined with pearl friezes, is decorated with a circular rosette in the centre. Two other square rosettes adorn the ends. The partially fluted jambs are decorated with gilded bronze asparagus.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
