This really beautiful Louis XVI style fireplace was realized in semi-statuary Carrara marble in the 19th century. The decoration of this fireplace is very delicate due to this very white marble. The banner is delicately sculptured by two branches of laurel interlaced. Jambs with rolling-up are furnished with leaves of acanthus and with grooves.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert. The marble floor is not included but can be made on order.
