This Art Déco style fireplace was made in France circa 1920-1930.
The style evokes the regularity of the Art Déco style where straight moldings frame the periphery of the jambs and the entablature. The tablet is prominent and a frieze of Breccia Violette marble inlays contrasts with the Carrara marble . The edge of the shelf is also adorned with a fine frieze of Breccia Violette.
Carrara marble is very veined here, which gives it a sophisticated gray appearance.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
