This antique Louis XIV style fireplace with Boudin moldings was made out of Red Griotte marble during the 19th century. The fireplace is surmounted with a fluted acroterion featuring spandrels carved with acanthus leaves. The sides of the fireplace are decorated with grille style air vents. The original pier glass is available under reference 10009.
This fireplace is sold with its original gilded cast iron insert but without any marble floor. A marble floor could be made to order.
