Beautiful cast iron antique fire back, dated 1724. It is decorated with an escutcheon bearing a coat of arms framed with two vertical posts. This escutcheon is crowned with the three letters IAV, which could be the phonetic transcription of Yahweh, the name of God, or an unidentified monogram.
