This antique Louis XIV style fireback, made at the end of the 17th century features the arms of Paul of Beauvilliers, the duke of Saint-Aignan. The arms are described as the following: "Fess argent and vert of six pieces, the fess argent is made up of three martlets Gules, 3, 2 and 1". This fireback also features the Duke's crown, the cloak and the necklace of royal orders. This fireback comes from the Château de Vaucresso, residence of the Beauvilliers.
