This beautiful firescreen is a French work from the end of the 19th century.
Made of gilt bronze, it rests on two rounded and twisted feet. It depicts an eclectic decoration taking the code of the Louis XV style with scolls of acanthus leaves motifs in the corners, and the Louis XVI style with the roses dice and the decoration composed of two back to back putti holding in their hands horns of plenty in front of a laurel leave crown.
