Good condition.
This beautiful firescreen was made of gilt bronze in the second half of the 19th century.
Composed of three movable panels, our firescreen reflect the eclectism of the 19th century's end and shows a remarkable chiseled work. Its central panel is adorned with a basket garnished with roses and holly branches held by a fabric falling on each side. Its top, adorned with a small handle used to serve as a support for acanthus leaves, receives on each corner a decoration taking the shape of flammes, thus reminding the use of our objet.
Each panel is also framed with a ribbon frieze and a pearls frieze and rest on four feet nicely chiseled.
