The firescreen is slightly twisted.
This antique Louis XVI style firescreen was made in the 19th century in gilt bronze. It takes the form of an arbalest and a quiver, characteristic motif of the Louis XVI style, adorns the upper part. Garlands of flowers, tied with a ribbon, occupy the central part. In the lower part, a cassolette is represented on a very fine chiseled drapery. The feet of the firescreen take the form of goat's foot and are embellished with acanthus leaves.
