A hole runs down the base so it can be used as a fountain. The top of the base has been slightly worn by running water. the bottom has an accident (see pictures)
Antique baptismal font made out of marble during the 19th century in the French Empire style. A large three-part bowl crowns a baluster shaped pedestal. A snake curls around the pedestal and bites an apple placed at the base.
