This little cabinet is closed by double doors in its lower part. These are made up of lacquered panels of a very high quality and rare mastery of workmanship. One of the panels is decorated with a couple of geese in a plant environment. The other panel is decorated with birds on branches. While one of the birds rests on a nest, the other flutters its wings and gets ready to chase a small nearby butterfly. These lacquered decors, in high relief, are superbly made.
In the upper part, this small cabinet is made up of asymmetrical shelves decorated with latticed friezes. A small compartment is closed with a beveled glass panel. This is painted with a bird in flight, flowery branches and a butterfly. Some details are made in engraved mother of pearl.
