Pompadour style mantel from the 19th century. The entablature and jambs, which rise up to scrolled heads, are adorned with panels carved in relief. The hearth opening is underlined with the layers of moldings.
The beautiful warm colored yellow pink Brocatelle marble is emblematic of Second Empire mantels.
